How To #2: Set up your directory listing

Six short steps, name to photos to publish, every click shown.

Once your account exists, your listing is six short steps. The video above walks every one, and you don't have to finish them in one sitting: start with the basics and the rest unlocks. From your dashboard, hit Start my free listing, or open My Listing any time.

1. Basics

Your shop name, your ZIP code (that's how we know which town searches you belong in), a category for what you make, and a couple of sentences about your shop. This is what shoppers read first and what search engines show under your name.

2. Branding

Add a logo, a cover photo, or both. Don't have a logo yet? Hit skip, it never holds you up, and your page falls back to your work photos.

3. Contact & Socials

An email, a phone number, your Instagram or Facebook. One way for shoppers to reach you is enough, and more never hurts.

4. Photos of Your Work

These are what sell the click. You can add up to ten, and phone pictures taken in daylight work great. Lead with your best seller.

5. About the Maker

Shoppers buy from people. Add a photo of yourself and say hello in a sentence or two: how long you've been making, what you love about it, anything that sounds like you.

6. Publish

Hit Publish to the Directory and you're live. Anyone searching your town's ZIP code on LocaliBuy can now find your craft business, open your page, and reach you in one tap.
