Welcome to LocaliBuy. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the LocaliBuy website and services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What LocaliBuy is

LocaliBuy is a directory and storefront platform that helps local makers, crafters, and small shops create a presence online and helps shoppers discover them. LocaliBuy is not a party to any transaction between a shopper and a maker. We do not sell the products listed, we do not process or hold shoppers’ payments, and we are not responsible for the products, descriptions, pricing, fulfillment, or any dispute between a shopper and a maker. Purchases are made directly from the maker using the payment methods they offer.

2. Accounts

To sell on LocaliBuy you must create an account. You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Maker subscriptions & billing

Some features require a paid subscription, billed monthly or annually through our payment processor. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; your plan remains active through the end of the current billing period. Free directory listings are offered at no charge. Fees are exclusive of any taxes you may owe. We may change pricing with reasonable notice.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• post unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful content;
• sell prohibited or illegal goods, or misrepresent products;
• infringe anyone’s intellectual property or privacy rights;
• attempt to disrupt, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.

We may remove content, or suspend or terminate accounts, that violate these Terms.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (shop details, photos, descriptions). You grant LocaliBuy a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host and display that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service. You are responsible for having the rights to the content you post. The LocaliBuy name, logo, and brand are our property.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any maker or product meets your expectations.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LocaliBuy will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any transaction or dispute between shoppers and makers. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
